In order to bring more great shows to our community we must have the resources. While most of our troupe including actors, directors, hair, makeup and costume designers, set designers, ushers, board and committee members are volunteers (and we are so grateful for their commitment) we still have expenses that exceed the income that can be generated from ticket sales. We must hire experienced technicians for sound, lighting, set and riser construction. We must rent or purchase costumes and props. We pay for publicity, theater rental and play production rights. We must repair or replace LCP-owned equipment such as microphones and stage lighting.
Only a portion of our income comes from ticket sales. The balance of our funding comes from the generosity of donors like you. Frankly, if we had to depend on ticket sales to cover our expenses, many could not afford the cost of the tickets. So please consider joining the LCP Family with a contribution today!
